Sunday 27th September | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | Max 10 people per hour
Location:Southern Maltings, Cowl room, Ware, Kibes Lane, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG12 7BS
Join us for a creative Sunday funday designed for the whole family, couples, and friends! Whether you're dropping in for a busy morning of crafts or a relaxed afternoon of painting, this interactive art workshop is catered to all ages.
We’ll be experimenting with a fun mix of vibrant alcohol inks, playful doodling, painting, and colouring-in to design our abstract kindness cards. Once the artwork is dry, we'll fill them with uplifting, positive messages for the community. All art materials and equipment are provided, just bring yourselves and get stuck in! (Please note: Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult).
While these workshops are completely free to attend, spaces are limited, so please make sure to register and book your ticket below to secure your spot!
Morning Slots (Mindful Crafts): Focused on mindful doodling, colouring-in, and painting (no alcohol inks). This session is most suitable if you’re coming with younger children.
Afternoon Slots (Alcohol Inks & Crafts): Includes all the above, but with more focus on playing with alcohol inks! This time is highly recommended for adults and older children (suggested age for alcohol inks is 6+).
Important Health & Safety Note We want everyone to have a safe and comfortable creative experience! Please note that alcohol inks can give off fumes. To keep this to an absolute minimum, we run a small air filter in the room and only work with small amounts of ink on small surface areas. We keep the duration of the workshop to a minimum and also provide aprons and nitrile gloves for all participants.
As a gentle precaution, the alcohol ink portion of this workshop is not suitable for pregnant individuals or those with underlying respiratory sensitivities. (If this applies to you, we would love to welcome you to the morning session!)
