Commissions

All bespoke commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking and purchase materials. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to collection or delivery.

For furniture restoration or artwork commissions, I reserve the right to adjust the final price if unforeseen circumstances arise during the creative process that necessitate additional work or materials not included in the original quote.

Workshops

Workshop bookings require full payment in advance. Refund policy: full refunds are available if cancelled more than 14 days before the scheduled date (excluding private workshops); 50% refund if cancelled between 7-14 days prior to the event; non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the workshop date. However, bookings may be transferred to another person with at least 24 hours' notice or to an alternative date/workshop subject to availability.

For private workshops, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required to secure the reservation. The balance must be paid in full no later than seven (7) days before the scheduled event.

Jade Dawn reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any session (public or private) under circumstances that render it impossible or impractical to proceed, including but not limited to, staff illness, insufficient participant numbers, or force majeure events. In such cases, affected participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund, at our discretion.

Workshop participants are responsible for adhering to all safety guidelines provided. Jade Dawn cannot be held responsible for any damage to personal property or injury resulting from failure to follow instructions or guidance during workshops.

Payments

All prices listed on our website are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Jade Dawn reserves the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to correcting typographical errors or reflecting changes in tax rates or material costs.

Artistic Creations and Restored Pieces

Please appreciate that many of the furniture pieces I restore have had previous lives and histories. Whilst this contributes to their unique character and charm, such pieces may retain minor imperfections consistent with their age. I strive to create high-quality, professional finishes whilst preserving the authentic character of each piece.

All artworks and furniture are finished by hand using specialist techniques including my signature gold ink designs. This creates a distinct aesthetic that differs from factory-produced items. Any notable characteristics or features will be detailed in the item description, so please read these carefully before purchase.

Imagery and Representation

I take care to provide accurate photographs of my work, though there may be slight variations in colour appearance depending on your display device. If you require exact colour matching, please contact me for a physical sample or swatch before finalising your order.

For commission work, I will provide progress updates and images as appropriate, allowing for adjustments within the agreed scope of work.

Intellectual Property

All images, artwork designs, logo and text on this website and associated social media channels belong to Jade Dawn and cannot be reproduced, distributed or used without explicit permission.

I reserve the right to photograph completed commissioned works for my portfolio, website and social media, unless otherwise agreed in writing beforehand.
